This task was to make a poster design for the Band Munch Overheard to promote their tour. i have designed it in indesign and have met the requirements that the client has told me to create with the images and wording in the correct place and also with the size to be A3 and to have the correct measurements.

Above is the base of the design that the band wanted me to layout the poster like. this includes a 20mm margin all around the poster and also a 4x5 grid to help scale with a 3mm gutter which my poster does have. 

^above is the guide lines on the poster to what the client wanted only the light blue lines.

above is the poster design before feed back in class. the only changes made were the 'special guest' line as I added a black box underneath but still on the pictures to make the words easier to read and I also made the title 'much overheard' bigger and longer across the page to make it stand out more. and also underlined the website link to make it easier to read if you wanted to type it into a phone. overall my design fit the brief very well and looks like a band poster, and only has minimal changes.
